Reserve it now. Earn it by completing ten.
The official X10 2027 Finisher’s Medal is an optional earned reward for runners taking on X10 in 2027.
Reserve yours when you enter or at any point during the season.
Complete 10 qualifying X10 runs during 2027 and it is unlocked for fulfilment.
Available for both the 5K Edition and 10K Edition, with a medal designed for your chosen X10 distance.
Reserve it. Complete ten. Earn it.
How It Works
1. Enter X10 2027
Choose the 5K Edition or 10K Edition and return to your chosen distance across the year.
X10 gives you 12 official monthly opportunities to complete 10 runs, plus one Freedom Run if life gets in the way.
2. Reserve Your Medal
Add the official X10 2027 Finisher’s Medal.
You can reserve one when you enter X10 or return and add one later in the season.
The medal is available only to registered X10 2027 entrants.
3. Complete Ten
Record 10 qualifying X10 runs during 2027.
There is no pace target and no requirement to become faster.
Walk it. Jog it. Race it.
X10 is about returning to your chosen distance and completing the year-long challenge.
4. Earn Your Medal
Once your tenth qualifying X10 run has been confirmed, your medal is unlocked for fulfilment.
Until then, it remains reserved.
Paying for the medal does not complete the challenge. Completing X10 earns it.
The X10 2027 Medal
The official X10 2027 Finisher’s Medal has been created specifically to mark a completed X10 year.
The design reflects what X10 actually asks of you: return to the distance ten times, across changing months, weather and circumstances, and keep showing up.
Made in Scotland from sustainably sourced wood, each medal is produced by a local workshop creating employment and training opportunities for young people in an area where those opportunities can be limited.
We know plenty of runners still believe no medal, no race.
X10 just does it a little differently.
The medal is not automatically included with entry. That means no unwanted medal is produced simply because somebody entered, and no physical reward is handed out before the challenge has been completed.
You choose whether you want one.
Then you earn it.
Who Can Order One?
The medal is available exclusively to registered X10 2027 5K and X10 2027 10K entrants.
It is not available for general sale.
You can reserve your medal before completing X10, but it will only be dispatched once your 10 qualifying runs have been confirmed.
If X10 2027 is not completed, the medal is not dispatched.
Why Is It Earned?
Race The Machine does not believe that paying an entry fee should automatically produce a finisher’s reward.
X10 is completed by showing up 10 times across the year, not simply by entering.
The medal follows the same rule.
You can reserve it.
You still have to earn it.
