Description

X10 2027 — Team Entry

Bring Your People. Keep Showing Up.

Two or more people. 5K or 10K. Ten times. One year. Together.

Bring a friend, your running club, workplace, walking group or team into X10 2027.

X10 is a worldwide monthly running and walking challenge built around one simple idea:

Keep showing up.

Every month, runners and walkers around the world take on their chosen 5K or 10K during the same official X10 Weekend.

Walk together. Run together. Take part separately.

Different abilities. Different locations. Different paces.

One shared commitment.

Enter together, then let every participant take on X10 in their own way.

One Team. Two Distances. Everyone Included.

Not everybody in your group needs to complete the same distance.

X10 has two editions:

X10 5K

Complete ten 5K runs or walks across 2027.

X10 10K

Complete ten 10K runs or walks across 2027.

Your team can include both 5K and 10K participants.

Everyone chooses their own distance while following the same worldwide monthly calendar.

You can walk.
You can race.
You can complete it with friends.
You can do it alone.

You can be fast.
You can be slow.
You can get faster.
You can get slower.

There are no personal pace targets and no requirement to improve your finishing time.

X10 isn’t about one heroic effort.

It’s about showing up across the year.

📅 Twelve Weekends. Complete Ten.

X10 takes place during the first Friday–Sunday weekend of every month in 2027.

Your team has twelve official opportunities to complete ten runs or walks.

Month Official X10 Weekend
January 1–3 January
February 5–7 February
March 5–7 March
April 2–4 April
May 7–9 May
June 4–6 June
July 2–4 July
August 6–8 August
September 3–5 September
October 1–3 October
November 5–7 November
December 3–5 December

Each participant can complete their chosen distance at any time during the official Friday-to-Sunday window, wherever they are in the world.

First X10 Weekend: 1–3 January 2027.

Twelve opportunities. Ten completions. One year.

🏃 Together, Even When You’re Apart

X10 gives your group something to share without requiring everybody to meet in one place.

Two friends can take on the challenge together.

A running club can arrange a monthly group run.

A workplace can bring together colleagues from different offices.

A walking group can make X10 part of its regular calendar.

Friends living in different countries can share the same monthly commitment.

Some participants might meet at parkrun for X10 5K.

Others might complete their distance on roads, trails or treadmills.

Everybody has the same official weekend to work towards.

Run together when you can. Take part separately when you can’t.

⚡ One Freedom Run/Walk Per Person

Life doesn’t always fit neatly into a monthly calendar.

Every X10 entrant receives one individual Freedom Run/Walk.

This allows one of their ten qualifying runs or walks to be completed outside an official X10 Weekend.

It provides flexibility around work, holidays, existing races and other commitments.

Each participant controls their own schedule and progress.

One person missing a weekend doesn’t affect anybody else’s challenge.

And with twelve official weekends available, you can miss two and still complete ten without using your Freedom Run/Walk.

Your team shares the challenge. Everyone completes it individually.

👕 Earned Finisher’s T-shirts

Want to give your team something physical to work towards?

Choose X10 Team Entry + Earned Finisher’s T-shirts.

Every participant receives the opportunity to earn the official X10 2027 organic cotton unisex finisher’s T-shirt.

The T-shirt is designed to be worn beyond running, rather than becoming another technical race shirt in the drawer.

How to Earn It

Complete ten qualifying X10 runs or walks during 2027.

Once an individual reaches ten completions, their T-shirt is unlocked for fulfilment.

Each qualifying participant can select their own size, with worldwide delivery included.

Nobody needs to wait for the whole team to finish.

The T-shirt is reserved by the team purchase, but earned by the individual.

🏅 What About Medals?

The official X10 2027 finisher’s medal is a separate, optional earned reward.

Medals are not automatically included with Team Entry or the earned T-shirt package.

⚙️ How Team Entry Works

1. Choose Your Team Package

Select 2, 3, 5, 10 or 20 places.

Choose standard X10 entry or the earned finisher’s T-shirt package.

One person makes the purchase for the group.

2. Receive Your Registration Instructions

Once your order is confirmed, Race The Machine will contact you using the email address supplied at checkout.

We’ll arrange the activation of your individual team places.

You don’t need to provide every participant’s details during the initial purchase.

3. Everyone Registers Individually

Each runner or walker registers in their own name and chooses their X10 distance.

They accept the participation terms and receive their own entry and completion record.

The person organising the team doesn’t need to manage everybody else’s results.

4. Take On X10 Together

From January onwards, a shared X10 Weekend arrives every month.

Participants complete their chosen distance, submit their results and follow their own progress.

Each new month brings another opportunity to keep going.

What’s Included in Every Team Place?

Every participant receives:

  • Full X10 2027 entry
  • Choice of 5K or 10K
  • Twelve worldwide X10 Weekends
  • Ten completions required to finish
  • One individual Freedom Run/Walk
  • Online result submission
  • Individual completion tracking
  • Access to the worldwide X10 entrant and results table
  • Official X10 2027 completion status after ten qualifying runs or walks
  • The opportunity to earn an official finisher’s T-shirt with the relevant package

There are no team performance targets, minimum pace requirements or expectations that everyone must improve.

One team. Individual achievements. A shared year.

Why Take On X10 as a Team?

Because keeping a commitment can be easier when other people are sharing it.

A monthly run or walk becomes something to look forward to.

One weekend on the calendar.

One reason to get outside.

One more opportunity to keep going.

Some participants might race every month.

Some might walk.

Others might simply be pleased to complete their chosen distance.

They don’t need to perform equally.

They just need to keep coming back.

X10 gives your friends, club or workplace a common challenge without requiring everyone to run at the same pace, in the same place or even in the same country.

Same weekend. Same ritual. Worldwide.

Bring Your Team to X10 2027

One run doesn’t make a year.

But ten might change how you think about showing up.

January becomes February.

Spring becomes summer.

The weekends return.

And your team keeps moving.

5K or 10K.
Ten times.
One year. Together.

#KeepChasing
