The recipient must complete 7 of the 10 official RTM distances to unlock their T-shirt.
Once qualified, they can choose:
- Red or black
- Their preferred size
- Worldwide delivery, included in the gift price
You don’t need to know their size or colour preference when purchasing.
The T-shirt is paid for when you buy the gift. It is only sent once earned.
🏅 What About Medals?
The official RTM 2027 finisher’s medal is available separately as an optional earned reward.
It isn’t automatically included with either Gift Entry option.

🎁 How Gift Entry Works
1. Buy the Gift
Choose standard RTM 2027 Gift Entry or Gift Entry + Earned T-shirt.
You’re purchasing the experience for someone else, not registering yourself as a participant.
2. Receive Your Gift Code
After purchase, you’ll receive a unique, single-use RTM 2027 gift code by email.
Gift codes are issued manually following purchase.
You can pass the code to the recipient whenever you’re ready.
3. They Redeem Their Entry
The recipient uses their gift code to register for RTM 2027.
They enter using their own name, email address and details, and accept the participation terms themselves.
There is nothing further to pay for the gifted entry or the T-shirt entitlement, where included.
Gift Entry is a one-off purchase, with no automatic renewal or ongoing payment commitment for the recipient.
4. Their Season Begins
Once registered, the experience belongs entirely to them.
Their results.
Their targets.
Their RTM Score.
Their Machine.

RTM 2027 is a worldwide running season built around ten different challenges from January to October.
Each month brings a new distance or timed challenge, with an official Friday-to-Sunday Race Weekend.

RTM isn’t simply about completing ten challenges.
It’s about discovering what you’re capable of — and then seeing whether you can do more.
The recipient’s first submitted result establishes their starting level.
From Race 2, The Machine sets personalised targets based on their own running performances.
Beat a target and The Machine responds.
Miss one and it adapts.
Their RTM Score develops as the season progresses.
They don’t need to be the fastest runner in the field.

⚡ Three Flex Runs
Life doesn’t always fit neatly into a running calendar.
Every RTM 2027 entrant receives three Flex Runs.
A Flex Run allows the recipient to complete or re-run an official RTM challenge outside its scheduled Race Weekend during the 2027 season.
These provide flexibility around existing races, holidays, work commitments and individual running plans.
And they don’t have to complete all ten distances to finish the central RTM challenge.

4/10 — RTM Verified
Complete four different official RTM distances.
7/10 — Beat The Machine 2027
Complete any seven official distances and achieve the central RTM mission.
This is also the milestone that unlocks the official finisher’s T-shirt for recipients whose gift includes it.
10/10 — Machine Accomplished 2027
Complete the full ten-distance season.
The recipient chooses their route through the year.
They can miss three distances and still Beat The Machine.

RTM’s finisher’s T-shirt is different.
Choose the £69 Gift Entry + Earned T-shirt and you’re giving someone an official reward they must unlock through their own running.
The Beat The Machine 2027 finisher’s T-shirt is made from organic cotton and available in red or black.
How They Earn It
Complete 7 of the 10 official RTM distances.
Once qualified, the recipient can select their colour and size.
Their T-shirt is then arranged for fulfilment, with worldwide delivery already included in the gift price.
The T-shirt is not dispatched when the gift is purchased or simply when the recipient registers.

🌍 A Gift They Can Use Anywhere
RTM is a worldwide challenge with no fixed venue.
The recipient can take part from Scotland, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands or almost anywhere else.
They choose their own route, location and start time within the relevant Race Weekend or Flex Run rules.
They can run alone, with friends, alongside their club or as part of a suitable organised event.
Every participant faces the same official distances, but their targets are personal.

Important Gift Entry Information
RTM 2027 Gift Entry is a one-off purchase for another participant.
The recipient must be aged 17 or older and accept the RTM/X10 Terms of Entry and Participation Disclaimer, including participant safety requirements.
Gift codes are issued manually after purchase and are intended for one recipient only.
Each code provides the corresponding RTM 2027 entry entitlement. The recipient registers individually using their own details.
The earned finisher’s T-shirt is included only with the £69 option and is unlocked after seven qualifying RTM distances.
The official RTM 2027 finisher’s medal is sold separately.
