Made in Scotland, the medal combines precision laser-cut and engraved wood-fibre material with a full-length cotton lanyard.

How It Works
1. Enter RTM 2027
Ten distances. Personal targets. One year.
Ten Race Weekends. Three Flex Runs. One complete RTM year.
2. Reserve Your Medal
Add the official RTM 2027 Finisher’s Medal.
You can reserve one when you enter RTM or return and add one later in the season.
The medal is available exclusively to registered RTM 2027 entrants.
3. Beat The Machine
Complete 7 of the 10 different official RTM distances during 2027.
Your first result establishes your starting level. After that, The Machine sets personalised targets that adapt as your results come in and your RTM Score develops.
You do not have to beat every individual target. Complete seven different official distances and you achieve Beat The Machine 2027 status.
4. Earn Your Medal
Once your seventh different official distance has been confirmed, your medal is unlocked for fulfilment.
Until then, it remains reserved.
Paying for the medal does not complete the challenge. Completing RTM earns it.

The official RTM 2027 Finisher’s Medal has been created specifically to recognise runners who achieve Beat The Machine 2027 status.
Its distinctive design features The Machine itself, combining the unmistakable RTM identity with the achievement it represents.
Each medal is laser-cut and engraved in Scotland by a small workshop providing employment and training opportunities for young people.
The distinctive composition is made using coloured wood-fibre board manufactured using organic dyes and a specialised resin.
It is finished with a full-length cotton lanyard,
