Last parkrun of the year and a new venue for me!
Always a pleasure to run with katmut! A nice traily forest run with one particularly tough uphill!!
Family coffee and chat afterwards ❤️
parkrun 142 and venue… 41, I think! EDIT 44!

Older sister had the cheek to ask “Are you up?” at about 8:45am.
The Mother took a picture in response, and I pulled my racethemachine_running buff up at the last second. Hence the mother’s face in this pic!
Christmas Day parkrun in the bag!

Happy holiday half marathon! A virtual race I had the entire year to take on but - given personal circs - only just managed to sneak in! It wasn’t a best effort or anything and I’m definitely not in race shape but I felt strong and enjoyed every step!…

I actually don’t think you can beat a Monday morning run before a pub lunch. The Our Pace Project club run this week? Run one of your absolute favourite routes, switch off from paces and stats and embrace your surroundings. Being able to run is such a privilege and it’s a good way to escape any Christmas chaos too!

Happy Christmas week everyone!

Hi, can I buy this as a gift for someone?
Kelly
Hi Kelly,
Yes you can, both the Red Challenge and Black Challenge have the option to buy as a gift.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hiya,
I’m Col, 52, from Ashton under Lyne in Manchester. I only started running last year but love it. This year I’m virtually running from home to Barcelona to raise money for a local mental health charity.
I’ve joined Race The Machine for even more fun and motivation.
Hi Col, I feel as though I should say welcome to Race The Machine, but as you have just beaten me by 02:05:19 in the Half Marathon it doesn’t come easily. I will aim for revenge in race 2. It is nice to hear the reasons people have signed up though, and hopefully the fundraising is going well. Remember to subscribe for more Machine ramblings… https://racethemachine.co.uk/subscribe/
