Black Running Challenge Basics:

Distances: 1500 Metres, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.

Timeframe: January 1st to December 31st, 2024 (join at any time in 2024).

Challenge: Beat me (The Machine), earn points, and a black buff/snood (made from recycled bottles)!

Step 1 – Enter & Receive:

Provide some basic details at checkout: Fitness level? Check.

Receive your target time: 1500 Metres first.

Optional: Buy a quality technical running t-shirt on entry.

Step 2 – Race & Submit:

Choose your terrain: Local streets, treadmill, or another race.

✅ Beat The Machine: If you outpace me, you’ll earn a respectable 1 point.

🔥 Crush The Machine: 1.5 points (Fire emoji-worthy!)

🤖 Robot Shuffle: If you complete your distance but fail to beat me, you still get a consolation 0.5 points.

Submit your result. Then added to the detailed Race The Machine Times & Results Table

Step 3 – Repeat & Complete:

Next up: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon races.

Black Buff Club: As soon as you complete all four races, you’re in! Wear that recycled-bottle snood with pride.
